QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management preferred.
- Successful experience working in a staffing or Human Resources environment.
- Evidence of Project Management experience.
- General understanding of employment law.
- Proficiency with computer software, both commercial & proprietary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously and accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to the principles of confidentiality.
- Other qualifications to the above that the Board may find acceptable and appropriate.
REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Manager
SUPERVISES: No direct reports
JOB GOAL: Responsible for coordinating the staff recruitment process and act as a resource for staff development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate the recruitment process and materials
- Manage the sourcing strategy by identifying sources of advertising, coordinating advertisements, and tracking candidate yield
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the applicant management system and ensure effective utilization and maximization of features
- Exhibit at conferences, job fairs, and community events to meet potential candidates
- Pre-screen applicants, as needed
- Counsel Hiring Managers on the hiring and transfer process
- Support selection process
- Collect forms, enter data, process transactions, and maintain electronic and paper records in support of the talent acquisition process
- Verify staff are appropriately credentialed
- Make employment offers to staff and coordinate onboarding
- Coordinate employment status changes
- Participate in support staff PD planning
- Provide support for applicants and employees as needed
- Partner with the Talent Specialist to support the objectives of the Talent Office
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Annually review and update materials and tools relevant to the hiring process
- Assist with mentor assignments and provide contracts
- Deliver training as needed
- Assist with facilitating orientations
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full year. Salary to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance is evaluated in accordance with the Compensation and Performance Evaluation Plan for School and District Leaders.
