QUALIFICATIONS:                                                      

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management preferred.
  2. Successful experience working in a staffing or Human Resources environment.
  3. Evidence of Project Management experience.
  4. General understanding of employment law.
  5. Proficiency with computer software, both commercial & proprietary.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously and accurately.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Must adhere to the principles of confidentiality.
  10. Other qualifications to the above that the Board may find acceptable and appropriate.

 

REPORTS TO:        Talent Acquisition Manager

 

SUPERVISES:        No direct reports

 

JOB GOAL:             Responsible for coordinating the staff recruitment process and act as a resource for staff development.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Coordinate the recruitment process and materials
  2. Manage the sourcing strategy by identifying sources of advertising, coordinating advertisements, and tracking candidate yield
  3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the applicant management system and ensure effective utilization and maximization of features
  4. Exhibit at conferences, job fairs, and community events to meet potential candidates
  5. Pre-screen applicants, as needed
  6. Counsel Hiring Managers on the hiring and transfer process
  7. Support selection process
  8. Collect forms, enter data, process transactions, and maintain electronic and paper records in support of the talent acquisition process
  9. Verify staff are appropriately credentialed
  10. Make employment offers to staff and coordinate onboarding
  11. Coordinate employment status changes
  12. Participate in support staff PD planning
  13. Provide support for applicants and employees as needed
  14. Partner with the Talent Specialist to support the objectives of the Talent Office

 

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Annually review and update materials and tools relevant to the hiring process
  2. Assist with mentor assignments and provide contracts
  3. Deliver training as needed  
  4. Assist with facilitating orientations

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full year. Salary to be established by the Board.

 

                        

EVALUATION: Performance is evaluated in accordance with the Compensation and Performance Evaluation Plan for School and District Leaders.

Physical Demands:

          Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time

          Standing for limited periods of time

          Occasional bending, crouching, stooping, twisting, reaching and grasping

          Light lifting- up to 15 pounds       

          Repetitive movement of fingers and hands for keyboarding.

          Visual acuity to read correspondence and computer screens.

          Auditory acuity to be able to use telephones.

          Ability to speak clearly and distinctly.

          Ability to work as a member of a team.

          Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people.

          Ability to work with limited supervision.
